Terms and Conditions
Many breeds are prone to matting and require regular brushing, on a daily basis as a preventative measure.
Our services include an amount of de-matting, if your pet will tolerate the experience. However, please be advised that a clip down would be required for severely matted dogs. Lengthy de-matting sessions can be very painful and uncomfortable for your pet. We would always consult you and seek your permission before a clip down. We want to work with you to achieve the best and most comfortable trim for your pet. We operate under the terms of the animal welfare act http://www.rspca.org.uk. Lengthy de-matting sessions could incur an additional charge of £5.00 per 15 minutes grooming time required to complete your pets groom.
Prices are available on application and are priced according to the condition of the dog and the amount of time needed to complete the work. We reserve the right to refuse to groom an aggressive dog. If a muzzle is required, we do have muzzles on board, but, cannot guarantee we have the right size or your dog, we will use one provided by you if your dog is accustomed to wearing one, we will not force a dog to wear a muzzle. Similarly, if a dog becomes too upset or stressed during grooming, we will bring your pet back to you, we in no way wish to make your pets experience in any way stressful.
You must inform us if your pet is known to be aggressive or to have ever bitten anyone.
Grooming of sick and elderly dogs is entirely at the owners risk. The dogs vaccinations should be up to date, to ensure that your dog doesn’t put itself or others at risk. Our first concern is the welfare of your pet.
We have a strict 24 hour cancellation policy, as our time slots are booked out well in advance. A £10.00 cancellation fee will be charged if 24 hours notice is not given.
